Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using K8S Engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using K8S Engine on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Service Description

K8S Engine provides a managed Kubernetes control plane service. We operate the control plane components (API server, scheduler, controller manager, etcd). You are responsible for your worker nodes, workloads, and infrastructure costs.

3. Your Responsibilities

• • Maintain the security of your account credentials
• • Ensure your infrastructure meets our connectivity requirements
• • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• • Pay for your infrastructure costs (cloud provider charges, hardware, etc.)
• • Maintain backups of your workload data

4. Our Responsibilities

• • Operate the Kubernetes control plane according to documented SLAs
• • Provide automated backups of etcd data
• • Maintain security of the control plane infrastructure
• • Provide support according to your plan level

5. Service Level Agreements

SLAs vary by plan. Pro plans include 99.9% control plane uptime. Enterprise plans include 99.99% uptime with additional support commitments. Free tier has no SLA guarantee.

6. Payment

Paid plans are billed according to our published pricing. You agree to pay all applicable fees. We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms or for non-payment. Upon termination, your clusters and data will be deleted after a grace period.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
